I am an interdisciplinary scientist and philosopher with an interest in building bridges between the two and a passion for cross-disciplinary collaboration. For a glimpse of my work, you can watch this talk of mine on evolutionary biology or read my ‘Science and Philosophy‘ series published on Psychology Today and Medium. And if that’s not enough, check out my list of publications!
I also did a couple of interviews on my work:
- Interviewed by Cody Turner’s Tent Talks: Naturalizing Consciousness
- Interviewed by Jamie Woodhouse’s Sentientism Podcast: Animal Sentience, Ethics, and Religion
- Interview with the Philosophy Exchange Podcast: Model Diversity and the Embarassment of Riches
- Interviewed by the The NonSequitur Show: Ethics of Genetic Engineering
I’m currently a PhD candidate in the School of History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Sydney under the supervision of Peter Godfrey-Smith and Paul Griffiths. My interests stretch widely across science and philosophy with my primary research interests being located at the intersection of the biological, behavioral, and cognitive sciences.
My partner Heather Browning is also a philosopher/scientist.
